TOWN
OF ANGELICA PLANNING COMMISSION
The Town of Angelica Planning Commission was created by ordinance on July 9, 2007, as revised on November 10, 2008.
The Town Board or other Town Official or public body having final approval authority or referral authorization under Town of Angelica ordinances shall refer to the Plan Commission for its consideration and report before final action is taken, the following matters:
1. Location and architectural design of any public building.
2. Location of any statue or other memorial
3. Location, acceptance, extension, alteration, vacation, abandonment, change of use, sale, acquisition or lease of land for any street, alley or other public way, park, playground, airport, parking area, memorial, or other public land.
4. All annexations, incorporations, or consolidations affecting the Town.
5. Proposed preliminary and final subdivision plats.
6. Proposed conditional use permits.
7. Proposed variances to the County Zoning Ordinance.
8. Proposed zone changes of property in the Town of Angelica
In addition, a member of the Plan Commission, appointed by the Town of Angelica Board Chairman, shall review Certified Survey Maps forwarded to the town by the Shawano County Property Lister and either approve or disapprove the survey maps.
The Town of Angelica is under Shawano County Zoning but the above requests come before the Town of Angelica Planning Committee which gives its advisory recommendation to the Town Board, which board in turns makes an advisory recommendation to the Shawano County Planning Development and Zoning Committee or the Shawano County Board of Adjustment.

The Town of Angelica Planning Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month when requests have come to their committee for review.
