2009 Garbage & Recycling Pickup Schedule
Please note that effective Monday,
April 27, 2009 garbage pickup in the Town of Angelica by
Waste Management will be done every Monday.
If weather conditions on the day of collection prevent collection,
service will then be on the following day, or Tuesdays.
The schedule of the Mondays in 2009 for pickup of garbage and recycling is as follows:
The
following are the Mondays on which garbage for residents
on both sides of Elm Road and to the east of Elm Road will be
picked up: April 27 May

Garbage stickers can be purchased
at <>Amoco 29 Travel Mart on
Spruce Road during the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
and from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday <>Northwoods
Convenience in Krakow during the hours of 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday and from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday <>at the Zachow
Post Office from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday <> at the Town Hall on the
second Monday of the month during the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Also, stickers can be obtained by mail. Send a check and stamped, self-addressed
envelope to Lisa Matuszak, Town of Angelica Treasurer, N2981 Green Valley Road,
Pulaski WI 54162.
Cost of stickers are 75 cents each.
Blue semi-transparent bags are to be
used for recyclables and no stickers are needed. Clear bags are to be used for garbage and
need to have a garbage sticker attached before they will be picked up. A 30 to 35 gallon garbage can or container
can be used with a sticker affixed to one of the garbage articles in the can
in clear view. Recyclables and
garbage will not be picked up if recyclables are found in the garbage or
garbage is found in the recyclables. Please
note that there is a 5-bag limit per home per every other week pick up.
Special arrangements can be made with
Waste Management at 920-468-5000 or 800-621-8884 for pickup of construction
materials, appliances, and furniture for a fee.
Also, these items can be taken to the Shawano City Landfill 715-524-2230
at 1099 Rusch Road for a fee.
Arrangements have been made with the
Brown County Hazardous Waste Facility located at 2561 South Broadway in the
Village of Ashwaubenon to take household products that
contain hazardous materials from Shawano County residents. There is no charge for bringing these items
to the Hazardous Waste Facility. Hours
at the facility are on Thursdays, noon to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. For more
