Hearing Regarding Correcting Description and
Addition of Territory to Krakow Sanitary District No. 1
August 8, 2005
The hearing was opened at 6:15 p.m. by Town Chairman, Richard Smith.
In attendance were Town of Angelica Chairman Richard Smith, Supervisors Cliff Powers and Wilbert Lewis, Clerk Janet Powers, Sanitary District President James Lotter and Attorney Herbert C. Liebmann,
Krakow Sanitary District No. 1 President James Lotter and Attorney Herbert C. Liebmann stated that the Oconto County Register of Deeds had noticed errors in the description of properties to be added to the Krakow Sanitary District when the Order adding territory to Krakow Sanitary District No. 1 was submitted to the Oconto County Register of Deeds for recording in December of 2004. One of the errors appeared to be typographical in changing a direction from north to south and this was corrected by filing an affidavit. The other error was caused because two property owners swapped some land and the exchange was never recorded resulting in the engineer drawing up a description that was in error. The correction of this error is being taken care of by this hearing and the Town of Angelica Board of Supervisors filing a Findings report and approving an Order correcting description and adding territory to the Krakow Sanitary District No. 1 at their meeting following this hearing.
There was only one person, James Lotter, who was present that owns property in the area covered by the Krakow Sanitary District.
The Chairman closed the hearing at 6:30 p.m.
