Special Meeting ~Town of Angelica Board of Supervisors

January 5, 2005

Town Officials Present: Chairman, Richard Smith, Supervisors, Tom Gwidt and Clifford Powers,

and Clerk, Janet Powers

Town Officials Absent: Treasurer Lisa Matuszak

Others Present: Elmer Kraning

Call to Order/Roll Call: Town Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 8:55 p.m. at the Town of Maple Grove Town Hall. This meeting followed the meeting of the N.E.W. Para-Medic Rescue, Inc./Public Safety Board. All town officers with the exception of Treasurer Lisa Matuszak were present for Roll Call.

Approval of Agenda: MOTION (Powers/Gwidt//PASSED) to approve the agenda as presented.

Specific Matters for Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:

Agenda Item 4: There was discussion regarding a recommendation to the Town of Angelica town board by N.E.W. Para-Medic Rescue, Inc./Public Safety Board to retain an attorney and move forward with litigation involving the Tri-County Rescue Squad. The general consensus was that because of a feeling of responsibility as elected officials and owing the taxpayers information in regard to taxpayers’ monies that had been spent, the first step should be taken to get the Rescue Squad to open up its financial records. MOTION (Gwidt/Powers/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY VOICE VOTE) to retain an attorney and move forward with litigation involving Tri-County Rescue Squad, Inc. to a point where the Rescue Squad’s financial records are opened for examination.

Adjournment: MOTION (Gwidt/Smith/PASSED) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
