Special Meeting

Town Officials Present: Chairman, Richard Smith, Supervisors, Clifford Powers and Wilbert Lewis, and Clerk, Janet Powers

Town Officials Absent: Treasurer, Lisa Matuszak

Town of Angelica Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m.

The purpose of the special meeting was to review floor plans for an addition to the town hall that were done by Nordin Pedersen Associates, Ltd. in April of 2004. Alternate Plan 1 provided for a 16’ x 46’ addition on the west side, or backside, of the town hall and Alternate Plan 2 provided for a 24’ x 43’ addition on the south side of the town hall. There was discussion on pros and cons of both plans and it was the general consensus to ask for bids on both plans and a decision on which plan to proceed with would be done after bids were received. It was suggested that plans as prepared would be given out to anyone who was interested in bidding on the addition to the town hall and it be noted on the plans that (1) “Records” room be identified as “Fireproof Record Room” (2) the addition and existing town hall be handicap accessible and (3) the addition be constructed according to all building codes pertaining to a public building. MOTION (Lewis/Powers/PASSED) to advertise for bids in the Shawano Leader on July 7^th and July 14^th with bids to be opened at a special meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2005.

MOTION (/Powers/Lewis/PASSED) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
