Call to Order/Roll
Call/Verification of Meeting Notice: Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at
11:30 a.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. All officers except the Treasurer were present for Roll
Call. Smith verified with Clerk Powers
that proper posting of the meeting had been done.
Specific Matters for
Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:
a.
At a special meeting
of the Town of Angelica Board of Supervisors held on October 26, 2005 the
general consensus was to adopt a resolution to present to a town meeting of the
electorate regarding the 2006 budget which would allow the town to exceed the
levy limit set by the state.
A
draft of Resolution 10-29-05 was reviewed.
(MOTION (Powers/Lewis/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) that the question of
increasing the town tax levy for 2005 (to be collected in 2006) by 36.8955 per
cent, which would increase the town levy by $88,684 over the past year’s levy,
for a total town tax levy of $329,049, shall be placed on the agenda for the
special town meeting to be held on November 15, 2005.
Adjournment: MOTION (Lewis/Powers/PASSED) to
adjourn the meeting. The meeting was
adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
