Clerk’s
Note: Town
of Angelica Chairman Richard Smith, Supervisors Wilbert Lewis and Cliff Powers
and Clerk Janet Powers were in attendance at a Special Joint Meeting for the
Towns of Angelica, Chase, Lessor, Maple Grove, Pittsfield and the Village of
Pulaski at the N.E.W. Para-Medic Rescue Building at 235 W. Pulaski Street,
Pulaski. The meeting convened at 7:05
p.m. Francis Karchinski showed those
present the equipment and supplies that were acquired from Tri-County Rescue
Squad, Inc. as a result of the mediated settlement agreement.
Town Officials Present: Chairman, Richard Smith, Supervisors, Clifford Powers and Wilbert Lewis
and Clerk, Janet Powers
Town Officials Absent: Treasurer Lisa Matuszak
Specific
Matters for Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:
MOTION
(Lewis/Powers/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY to
give authority to the N.E.W. Para-Medic Rescue Inc. Board of Directors to
liquidate the assets of Tri-County Rescue Squad, Inc. that were acquired in a
mediated settlement agreement.
MOTION
(Lewis/Powers/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) to
authorize the N.E.W. Para-Medic Rescue Inc. Board of Directors to create an
equipment replacement fund for N.E.W. and to place revenues from the sale of
assets acquired from Tri-County Rescue Squad, Inc. into this fund.
Adjournment: MOTION (Lewis/Powers/PASSED) to
adjourn the meeting. The meeting was
adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
