Call to Order/Roll
Call/Verification of Meeting Notice: Chairman Smith called the meeting held at the
Town of Maple Grove Town Hall to order at 8:05 p.m. All officers except the
Treasurer were present for Roll Call.
Approval or Modification of Agenda: MOTION (Lewis/Powers/PASSED) to approve the agenda as presented and posted on January 23, 2006.
MOTION (Powers/Lewis/PASSED BY ROLL CALL VOTE
OF 3 AYES AND 0 NAYS) to
adjourn to closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(g) to confer with
legal counsel about current litigation involving Tri-County Rescue Squad, Inc.
and to adopt a litigation strategy.
Clerk’s Note:
Town of Angelica Chairman Richard Smith,
Supervisors Wilbert Lewis and Cliff Powers and Clerk Janet Powers were in
attendance at the closed session along with officers of the Village of Pulaski
and Towns of Chase, Lessor, Maple Grove and Pittsfield. Attorneys Jon Anderson, Terence Bouressa and
William Vande Castle were also in attendance at the closed session.
MOTION (Lewis/Smith/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) to return to open session at 9:20 p.m.
Specific
Matters for Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:
MOTION
(Smith/Lewis/PASSED BY ROLL CALL VOTE OF 3 AYES AND 0 NAYS) to dismiss the lawsuit against Tri-County Rescue
Squad, Inc. on the terms and conditions contained in mediated settlement
agreement.
MOTION
(Powers/Lewis/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) to
table any action on signing necessary documentation to effectuate the foregoing
dismissal of lawsuit.
Adjournment: MOTION (Powers/Lewis/PASSED) to
adjourn the meeting. The meeting was
adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
