Special Meeting ~Town of Angelica Board of Supervisors

June 18, 2008

Town Officials Present: Chairman, Richard Smith, Supervisors Clifford Powers and Wilbert Lewis,

and Clerk, Janet Powers

Town Officials Absent: Treasurer Lisa Matuszak

Others Present: Richard Ferfecki, Town of Angelica Planning Commission Chairman

Call to Order/Roll Call/Verification of Meeting Notice: Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. All officers except the Treasurer were present for Roll Call. [Clerk’s note: Agenda for the meeting was posted at three places in the town on Friday, June 13, 2008 and also faxed to the SHAWANO LEADER on June 13, 2008]

Richard Ferfecki, Chairman of the Town of Angelica Planning Commission presented the Town of Angelica’s Comprehensive Plan as drafted by the Planning Commission and approved by their Resolution adopted on May 29, 2008.

After going through the plan, the town board had several changes or corrections which are as follows:

· On Maps 4 & 5 the boundaries shown for the Krakow Sanitary District do not include the Lake Sandia Subdivision

· Map 5 – in Section 25 there was a question as to why 40 acres on Pine Road are designated as Public Open Space and Recreation

· Map 5 – There should be an additional marking of “Agricultural Transition” on the map for the area north of STH-160 from Pulaski to its intersection with STH-55

· Page 59, Item 4 – Should the word “size” be removed to make this sentence clearer. Does the sentence mean to read ….require a minimum “new lot” size or does it mean to read…..require a minimum “new” lot size?

· Page 71 – The text says there are six bridges along county highways and Town roads. At this meeting the town board came up with a number of 20 bridges on town roads.

It was the general consensus to have the public hearing regarding the Comprehensive Plan on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and to have as an agenda item the approval of a town ordinance to adopt the Comprehensive Plan at the town board monthly meeting to be held on Monday, August 11, 2008.

The board expressed its appreciation of the large amount of time Town of Angelica Planning Commission Chairman Richard Ferfecki spent in the development of the town’s Comprehensive Plan.

Adjournment: MOTION (Lewis/Powers/PASSED) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
