Call to
Order/Roll Call/Verification of Meeting Notice:
Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. followed by the
Pledge of Allegiance. All officers
except the Treasurer were present for Roll Call.

note: The agenda for this meeting was posted at three places in the town on
July 17, 2009 and an Advertisement for Bids appeared in the July 17, 2009 issue
of the SHAWANO LEADER. Also, letters
were sent to contractors on July 14, 2009]
Specific
Matters for Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:
The purpose of the meeting was to receive and open
bids for reconstruction work to be done on 1.3 miles of Carroll Road from its
intersection with Beech Drive north to the point where the road enters the Town
of Green Valley. Seven bids for
reconstruction of Carroll Road were submitted.
They were from Jackie Foster, Inc., Jenda Trucking, Inc., M & L
Excavating LLC, Maroszek Excavating, Inc., McKeefry & Sons, Inc.,
Performance Excavating, Inc. and Knitt Sand & Gravel, Inc. MOTION
(Van Asten/Lewi/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) to accept the low bid for
reconstruction of l.3 miles of Carroll Road submitted by Jackie Foster, Inc. in
the amounts of $18,840.00 for stone @ $6.28 per ton and $20,106.00 for the dirt
work for a total of $38,946.00.
Adjournment: MOTION (Lewis/Van Asten/PASSED) to
adjourn the meeting. The meeting was
adjourned at 10:35 a.m.
