Call to
Order/Roll Call/Verification of Meeting Notice:
Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 10:00. All officers except the Treasurer were
present for Roll Call.

note: The agenda for this meeting was posted at three places in the town on
August 27, 2009 and an Advertisement for Bids appeared in the September 1, 2009
issue of the SHAWANO LEADER. Also,
letters were sent to contractors on August 27, 2009]
Specific
Matters for Discussion and Possible Action by Town Board in Open Session:
The purpose of the meeting was to receive and open
bids for reconstruction work to be done on one mile of Town Line Road from its
intersection with State Highway 32 west to its intersection with Green Valley
Road. Seven bids for reconstruction of
Carroll Road were submitted. They were
from Jackie Foster, Inc., Jenda Trucking, Inc., M
& L Excavating LLC, Maroszek Excavating, Inc., McKeefry & Sons, Inc., Performance Excavating, Inc. and
L. J. Sperberg Construction, Inc. MOTION
(Lewis/Van Asten/PASSED UNANIMOUSLY) to accept
the low bid for reconstruction of one mile of Town Line Road submitted by
Performance Excavating Inc.. in the amounts of $20,250.00 for stone @ $6.75 per
ton and $18,345.00 for the dirt work for a total of $38,595.00.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at approximately 10:30
p.m.
