:: ELECTION OF TOWN OFFICIALS ::
Please be informed that at the Annual Meeting of the Town Electors held on April 13, 2004 a resolution was approved that changed the method in which town officials (Chairman, Supervisors, Treasurer and Clerk) are elected from having a caucus in January to having candidates circulate and file nomination papers with the town clerk by the first Tuesday in January preceding the election.
Anyone who is interested in being a candidate for any of these offices is to circulate nomination papers between December 1 and the first Tuesday in January prior to the election which will be held the first Tuesday in April.
If the number of persons submitting nomination papers to the town clerk on the first Tuesday in January are more than twice the number to be elected for that office, a nonpartisan primary will be held.
Contact the town clerk for the necessary forms required when circulating nomination papers.

Town Officials will be elected will be on TUESDAY, APRIL 5, 2011
