Voting by Absentee Ballot

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on election day may request to vote an absentee ballot.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on election day and who has resided in the Town of Angelica for at least 10 days before the election.  The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot.  All voted ballots must be returned to the municipal clerk by mail so that the clerk can deliver them to the polling place before the polls close.  Any ballots received after the polls close will not be counted.

You may request absentee ballots up until 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before an election from the Town of Angelica Clerk, Janet Powers, W1569 County Road C, Pulaski  WI  54162.  To allow sufficient time for mailing, please make your request as soon in advance as possible.  Ballots are usually delivered to the clerk three weeks prior to the election.  Each elector requesting an absentee ballot must do so in writing.  Your written request must list your voting address, where the absentee ballot should be sent if different than your voting address, the date of the election you are requesting ballots for and have your written signature.

Any qualified elector can also personally come to the clerk’s office, complete an written application, and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk’s office until 5:00 p.m. of the day before an election.  Please call Town of Angelica Clerk, Janet Powers, at (920) 822-5554 before coming.
